WEAR GUIDE

01

Fit it to your dog.

Your RILLWAG raincoat is designed to adapt around different body shapes. Start with the correct base size, then fine-tune the fit using the integrated adjustment system.

02

Adjust the fit.

Fine-tune each area until the shell sits securely without restricting natural movement.

Adjust the hood

AHOOD ADJUSTMENT

Adjust the hood

Use the elastic drawcord to fine-tune the hood opening. Adjust only as much as needed to keep the hood secure without restricting movement.

Fine-tune the neck

BNECK ADJUSTMENT

Fine-tune the neck

Use the concealed drawcord to adjust the width around the neck. The opening should sit comfortably without feeling tight while helping the shell stay correctly positioned.

CCHEST & UNDERSIDE FIT

Secure the chest

Adjust the webbing around the chest and underside, then secure the concealed buckles. The left and right sides can be fine-tuned independently to achieve a balanced fit.

Excess webbing is tucked inside the chest panel, keeping loose straps and hardware neatly concealed.

Keep the rear secure

DREAR LEG LOOPS

Keep the rear secure

Soft elastic loops sit around each rear leg to help stabilise the back of the shell during walking, running and windy conditions. They should sit comfortably without pulling or restricting movement.

RESULT

A correctly adjusted rear fit should follow the body while leaving the tail free to move naturally.

EBACK-LENGTH ADJUSTMENT

Adjust the back length

Use the rear adjustment to fine-tune the coat length around the base of the tail. Shorten or release the adjustment until the rear coverage sits cleanly without interfering with natural tail movement.

03

Built into the back.

01

Accessory loop

Attach a small lightweight accessory such as a dog safety light or tag to the integrated loop.

02

Harness access

The vertical waterproof zipper provides access to a harness worn underneath the coat. Dual zip sliders can be positioned closely around the lead to reduce the size of the opening and help limit rain entering through the access point.

Position both sliders around the lead for the closest possible fit.

03

Self-pack pocket

The horizontal waterproof zipper opens the integrated storage pocket. While the coat is being worn, the pocket can hold small lightweight essentials. When the coat is not in use, it packs into the same compartment for compact storage.

04

Pack it down.

The raincoat packs into its own pocket for compact storage when the weather clears. No separate storage bag required.

05

Packed and ready.

Once packed, the raincoat forms a compact pouch for easy storage and everyday carry. A small webbing loop at the corner makes it easy to hold or hang when not in use.

Temporary creasing may occur after packing. The fabric will naturally relax again with wear or when left unpacked.

06

Check the fit.

Before heading outside, make sure the raincoat sits naturally around your dog.

  • BACK

The shell sits centred along the back.

  • NECK & CHEST

The fit is secure without feeling tight.

  • SHOULDERS & LEGS

    Natural movement remains unrestricted.

  • REAR

The coat follows the body without interfering with tail movement.

  • LEG LOOPS

Both elastic loops sit comfortably without pulling.

  • HARNESS ACCESS

If used, the opening aligns with the harness connection point and both sliders sit closely around the lead.

Still too loose or too tight with the adjustments at their limit? Re-check the size.
